finally here in san francisco. up in the north bay for several hours now but spreading to other parts of the area. look at live doppler 7 hd. you can see how wide pats now. once again most of this is light. although we are picking up all the moisture up in the upper atmosphere and cloud that is not hitting the ground with any intensity yet. so it lacks more impressive than it actually is. loop rid arrest image 4 as we close in the north bay. you can see sonoma county really getting it writ now. santa rose, healdsburg, petaluma and into parts of marin county as well over into napa moving inland writ now but again most of this is light rainfall although certainly pockets of moderate to heavy rain developing as you can see open the peninsula san francisco golden gate pushing out over the bay we have rain developing now it's going to be a wet soggy night here in the bay area. so live view from the roof top camera looking at the lights on the bay bridge under damp conditions is 52 degrees if san francisco. 54 in oakland

san francisco state senator mark leno is proposing the new legislation. he says it's designed to generate more money for the state.by extending hours at restaurants, bars and nightclubs. each county would be able to decide whether to buy into the idea. chavis off the dense fog is returning. especially close to the coast. it will clear but slower to clear. saturday and temperatures are going to be gradually taking a decrease. it will be noticeably cooler. the bayshore and towards the coast widespread. and even for the in the valleys. concord seeing some of that this is when it will be in full swing. giving yourself some extra time out the door tomorrow. the fog will clear out. but it is still lingering for the bayshore. and the coast. the early afternoon the with mild temperatures. it will still be '70s but for the 3:00 p.m. hour, 70's. down to the south bay, 70's in palo alto. for the inland valleys. 60s in union city. the 50s to the coast. low 50s in ocean beach. still and the 70's for the north bay. the cooling trend will begin tomorrow. early next week
